£1

I heard yesterday that NFFC are for sale for £1, with no money owed to ND's estate.

If this is true, surely there has not been such a bargain to be had in a long time, in the footballing world.

I know our wage bill is more than our income at the moment, but with some clever transfer dealings, this can soon be changed, and a new buyer will have himself a debt free, profitable football club with an illustrious history, for £1.

dwayne, it's not uncommon to sell a company like us for a token quid. After all wasn't it taking £12M a year from ND to keep us alfoat so instantly the price becomes £12M and so on.

It's very common, as is selling something for 1 peppercorn

But grasping something like this as a concept may be going a little bit too far for some people

Does anyone fancy having a whip-round? I reckon we could raise £100 easy.
