Yeah, definitely, he is getting the team playing some decent stuff. Not scared to try new players if he thinks they will do a good job. A fantastic job surely.

Agree and tho as a man i dont like Gatland it has to be said that Lancaster and Gatland have a great ethos about coaching. If you good enough your old enough and then their teams prove they were right.

Tom Croft! Wingers speed that boy's got!

On another subject, if the right coach is chosen the Lions are going to go and to OZ on a destruction mission.

Looking at the talent coming from the 4 countries its going to be a vintage lions team.

I do have to laugh at those who suggested Croft shouldn't be in the side.

He tracked and tackled a winger, won numerous line out ball, and that line break was what you would expect from a 10 or 15, and then he goes around the last man, also a back, and made him look like he was a prop.

Top player.

Croft was literally incredible in the ten minutes when England had a player yellow carded. First to the ruck, and tracked exceptionally.

Top top player.

Looks like I missed the debate about the yellow card. For what it's worth I agree with Ding.

The attempt was one handed and clumsy. Any ref who sees a one handed attempt to paw at opposition ball will call it as an intentional knock on. Even if the player has hands like baseball mitts, if you only use one hand and don't catch it that's generally the acid-test as to whether it's a genuine attempt to intercept or just disrupt their move.

But that is not a yellow card offence by itself.

Double but, Robshaw was warned two penalty offences earlier that the next one would see a yellow. Maybe the penalty earlier should have been a yellow (I can't remember the exact offence) and then no-one would have been talking about the inconsistency of the intentional knock ons!

Not a classic game, but a nail biter and a good win for Lancaster and England.

Ashton still looks out of sorts, confused and lethargic. Maybe time for a break.

Heard it before unfortunately. The problem is that for all the depth around only 15 guys can take the field of course. Selections will be an even greater bloodbath of bickering and that aside there is no evidence that the first choice selection of any of these teams can match the Wallabies anyway.

From my observation, Lions squads are often selected heavily on reputation. Would Hogg, Denton, Farrell, Williams, Cuthbert, DOC, or Earls get a look in? to me these guys have made a name for themselves in this 6N, and I can't see them being even considered for selection given the reputation of the more established players in other teams.

England back in the top four. World order restored, almost.
