No complaints with Neilsons sending off today stupid and reckless. But the ref today was a joke and inconsistant. Excactly 1 min before the sending off brown does EXACTLY the same challange on mackay-stevens but all is given is a free kick and brown hardly even gets spoken too. Both players should have been off.
The difference being GMS just gets up and gives his head a rub and gets on with the game, unlike that big tranny who goes down clutching his face and trying to get opponents sent off.
enjoy the tainted win celtic

"It barely got a mention as unlike your shower our players just got up and got on with the game instead of faking injuries trying to get fellow pros sent off. That big tranny you have playing on the left wing is a disgrace"
Has it occurred to you that it didn't get a mention because there was nothing in it.

It is tainted browns elbow in the face was just as bad as neilsons, samaras foul on robertson was just as bad as neilsons first yellow, and there was no differance on the penalty foul on daly as to samaras.................. well apart from the fact that the ref chose not to send brown off and chose not to give united a penalty. If the game had been united v rangers and we got a man sent off and they got a penalty (which is pretty normal) you'd be calling the ref a cheat, and saying it was a tainted.

wow just wow if you believe that then your really hurting mate!!
browns challenge was nothing like neilsons it was rash and possible yellow
neilsons was straight red plus he was on yellow already (stupid) housten had no problems with it the ref!!
united did not have penalty shout it was never a pen mate and for the record the challenge on sameras happend outside box so should not have been pen
over the 90mins celtic took there chances united missed theres end of celtic deserved to win game
lacney and russell should have scored atleast one each but missed these are reasons you lost game

Neilson deserved to walk and that was that. However, Scott Brown should have seen red for his elbow previous to this - but the referee was very poor and was not on top of things.
A shame really, as it was a really competitive game at 11 vs 11. In fact the game had all the makings of a classic. Inconsistent refereeing spoilt it I'm afraid.
Once we went down to 10 men it was always going to be an uphill struggle. But fair play to the United players, the attitude throughout the team was spot on from kick-off and they kept going at it as best they could after the sending off.
I was very disappointed at how easy some of the Celtic players went down at the merest physical touch. And the ref bought every one of them - embarrassing!
Actually, the ref was really poor throughout. He actually played an 'advantage' after a foul just inside the united half - when we were down to ten men - and Johnny Russell was chasing a ball up the park with at least 4 Celtic players between him and the Celtic goal. How anyone could think that this was an advantageous position is bewildering!
Surely when a team is a man down a free kick is almost always the best result.
Did the ref really think JR was going to be able to dribble through half the Celtic team on his own and score
Anyways, I'm proud of United's effort yesterday. Onwards and upwards.

Typical old firm ref yesterday had his green tinted glasses on wonder what part of weegieville he comes from it is time we had foreign refs in charge of big games as our refs are so spineless to give major decisions against their old firm heroes

It's good how Neil Lennon showed what a classy guy he is by bringing on Zaluska with a couple of minutes to go, he's a horrible little man.....
