Welcome to Round 4 of Last Man Standing, the sports prediction game. Unfortunately, this inaugral competition is now closed to new entrants, though you are absolutely welcome to make predictions for fun or discuss the matches below.

We have had 106 entrants, thank you to every one of you for making this game fun, meaningful and competitive. I hope it has provided a little more interest in sporting fixtures over the last three weekends.

Well done if you predicted last week that Sunderland would beat Liverpool, Bolton Wanderers would beat QPR, Bradford Bulls would beat Hull Kingston Rovers, or that Ricky Burns would beat Paulus Moses on points.

And of course a huge big up if you got the Brucie Bonus right and gained an extra life - predicting correctly that Racing Santander would fail to score in their La Liga game versus FC Barcelona.

Unfortunately, closing new entries after the end of week 3 is the only fair way to run the competition, as posters only begin with 3 lives - it would be unfair on the posters who have taken the time to enter and lost all their lives if new people could join at this stage. But there's every chance I might run Last Man Standing again and I hope the articles are not too intrusive on your boards.
