Have to disagree. Gerrard was the main difference but Liverpool were better all over the pitch tonight. Gerrard was brilliant though, take nothing away from that performance.

Exactly, at one point in the first half Suarez passed to Carroll about 15 yards outside the penalty area and was immediately on his heels. Carroll received the pass and immediately passed it back to the midfield with his back to goal. You just know gerrard would have flicked that on with his first touch back into the path of Suarez for the chance of a shot on goal.

In not knocking carroll he's starting to get onto the same wavelength but he will never have that touch or vision that a world class midfielder like Stevie g gives you.

Gerrard needs to have license to roam deffo. At least at home.

Hendo reminded me of Miereles on form a bit tonight I think he had a good game too.

Downing was the difference tonight.

So apart from stevie the 2 teams where equal? I don't think so! We wanted it more in every position on the pitch and deserved the win!
