Just seen on Stringers twitter and on ESPN, its reported that Man City are set to move for Keisuke Honda and Yuki Abe.

Nah this is just lazy journalism. Honda to Man City is a possibility - he could be a good replacement for Tevez if he leaves. Other than that though, all the author's done is pluck the first Japanese football player he can think of out of the ether and tacked them onto this story. As good as I think Yuki will be for us next season, I'm not sure he's really in with much of a shout of displacing De Jong.
As for Stringer, the qualification required to become a fully-fledged love-rat nowadays appears to be to have a super-injunction in your name. He should get in touch with JT or Giggsy - they both know some good lawyers who can sort out that sort of thing for you.

Honda is a CM, basically a japanese David Silva.
They will bring in a top class striker.
I reckon they will be eyeing up players like Aguero, Eto'o and Gomez

It's all a misunderstanding. Man City are buying Honda FC, as a feeder club, and YĆ«ki Ibaraki – a small Japanese city that they took a liking to while they were shopping for a club, so added it to the basket.
It is also rumoured that they have bought Abby (not Abe) Winters – a stable of Australian 'adult movie' stars. But if so, it would definitely be covered by a superinjunction, and you will never hear a word about it. It will be hyper-secret… except on Twitter, where you will find details of who, whom, where, when, what and why on earth the position is sometimes referred to as 'reverse Brazilian paddle steamer'.

Abe has had a reasonable first season for us, but it seems strange that a Champions League team would want him.
I can't see this being true unless Man City only want him as a babysitter.

Thank you Danger Fox. Yes, I have decided to have a nose around. The last knockings of BBC 606 slowly became less and less worth bothering with over the course of several months. Too much spite, too little humour. Let us see how this site develops…
