You won the game. Congratulations on a deserved win at home.
However despite the fact that you lot won, none, and I mean absolutely not one, of you should feel good about tonight.
I understand the rivalry and the hard feelings that come along with a local derby, but for God's sakes show some common human decency.
You may not realize it now, but Derby County lost a lot of respect for that disgusting chant.

How many times have you beat us?
Finished higher than us?
Had a higher average attendance than us?
What if we go back 15 years?
20 years?
100 years?
Go on, have a guess, your such a massive club, you must beat us hands down at all the above, right?

You really know Derby County is a small club when the only success they can point to is doing better than their famous neighbors for a specific period of time. You see the entire rest of the footballing world compares their relative successes and failures by the all the games they play against all the teams they play against. Its called a season. Seasons don't really begin and end with a local derby match.
Right now Derby County are better than Forest (7 places at the moment I believe). After all I believe the table does not lie. A nice gap, but hardly setting the footballing world a blaze after all.
Lets compare this season to last season for instance. Forest last season did the "double" over Derby and made an appearance in the playoffs, so it is unarguable that Forest had a better season than Derby. Despite that fact ask any Forest fan and they would tell you last season was a failure. We failed to win the league. We failed to be promoted. Now on to this season. Both teams have not exactly impressed the league with their footballing acumen, but to Derby County fans it seems like they are considering this season a success.
Small Minded. Small Club.

Specific period of time, I'm saying the last 10, 15, 20 or 100 years, not too specific that.
Such a big club like yourselves will beat us on all those, surely?
Or do you just think you're a big club, even when we beat you at everything most years, even when you lose to Yeovil, and even when you're slipping back into the 3rd tier for the second time in a decade.

While I do think that Forest are certainly a more well known and famous club than Derby County, I think it is pretty obvious that neither are "big" clubs anymore in comparison to the footballing world as a whole.
But we are bigger than you mate, especially in terms of trophies, history, and respect (but not in attendance as your lot are always pointing out). I mean how big of a club are you when attendance is the stat your club hangs its hat on? And while we are in a relegation scrap, much like you were in last season, I think we'll avoid the drop by a similar number of points to yours last year (7 points or so I believe).

"I mean how big of a club are you when attendance is the stat your club hangs its hat on?"
Hanging my hat on attendances?
There's a bit of a range there to go at, head to head games, finishing higher in the league than us, and yes, attendances, over a large range of times in history, all measures of a big club I'm sure you'll agree, trophies as well of course and while ours are very modest we've done alright for a club and town of our size.
So come on, have a go, we're just little old Derby with our sheep masks, you must be able to beat us at everything, you being such a humungously massive club.

Why don't you take a gander at the number of posts in this article alone comparing Forest's and Derby's average attendance.

And the Forest posts saying ours were rubbish in the 80's, which I'm not denying, it was a bad time for us, but even with your ave attendance being higher than ours for a full decade, we still beat you post war, and we beat you pre-war too, where's the massive club with the brilliant history, or was it only one decade, not really a history at all then.
So what about the others, you say that's all we go on about, who's had most higher league finishes (I can tell you again you had 10 straight finishes above us in the 80's, so what about the rest of your brilliant history?
You must have finished above for the majority of it surely? If not all of it, after all we're only Derby, that little club from the little town up the road.

At least you aren't hanging your hat on attendance stats or living in the past (like we're constantly accused of).

What would you like us to compare then, this season only?
I don't think you'll come out very well TBH.
..and once again the rest of my post wasn't about attendances, but also about higher league positions, head to head games, you seem a bit reluctant to talk about that, aren't you very confident in your massiveness after all?
