According to lunchtime radio Rovers' players returned for pre-season today. Harry Pell wasn't there and has left the club.
Buckle says he had a long and constructive chat with Campbell and has offered him a playing/coaching role. Campbell is considering the offer; Buckle said he was impressed by Campbell's attitude and would like to work with him.
Personally I'm disappointed that Pell has gone; I always thought he looked like a good prospect.

, wanted him to stay. Thought he looked good at the end of the season.
I know we needed a shakeup but I hope Buckles not going too far and ripping what heart we had out of the club.
I hope Cams stays to give a bit of continuity.
Apart from him of the regulars we are only left with Sawyer,Lines? JK,Byron a few youngsters and fringe players R eece & Swallow.
Blizzard gone but is Wayne Brown still around.

We needed a shake-up, but your point Shooter about going too far worries me. If we don't get off to a good start there are going to be very few players with any sort of allegiance to the club. I think that it's vital Campbell sticks around, but to be honest I wouldn't put money on it.
PS..I see Zebroski has handed in a transfer request at Torquay.

With those few we had left it wouldnt be a suprise to see all or any of them go.
If there had been few or no changes and we sent out a team similar to what we had last year, I wouldnt have the enthusiasm or expectation I have at the moment and it would have been harder to turn up week in week out.
They have certainly got me and probably plenty more back on board by what they have done, but its going to be so different on day 1 wondering who is who.
Sounds if Cams wants to stay he can, a bit like when he took over as manager we are going to need him to be the glue to stick it all together
