Inferior Liverpool

Why is the Liverpool striker feeling inferior amongst the Chelsea superstars even to the extent of not celebrating a superior Chelsea victory?

I still think he is not ours or shouldn't be ours and he certainly looks and feels out of place in a superior blue jersey, if not for Roman's money I would volunteer to drive him over to Anfield (his real home) myself. He looks lost to me.

Torres sulked at Liverpool when things didn't go his way.

Torres sulked last night because things didn't go HIS way.

He's not a team player. For Torres, everything is about him. Not denying he is/was a great player but is he the kind of player you want in your team?

Don't get me wrong, you want a striker to be a bit selfish and single minded in front of goal, it's what gives them the killer instinct. But you want them to be happy and celebrate the TEAM's success even if their contribution was poor!

£50mill was a massive investment that hasn't paid off. Will it? Maybe. Could it also potentially be the downfall of a team though. How long do you persist with an expensive signing?

United have the same problem with Berbatov really. We've had more return from him than Chelsea have with Torres but he's never really going to live up to his full potential at United and I really don't believe Torres will at Chelsea.

Sometimes you just have to cut your losses, admit it hasn't worked out and move on for the good of the team!

Well done Chelsea though. Not a fan by any stretch of the imagination but I want you to do well in Europe and I would be thrilled to bits if you went on and won it! Not sure Arsenal fans would be though as it could potentially steal their place for next season! (or the Spurs)!

I wish he will just go away like Avb, if only Roman can do something about him so we can all forget about him, we have won nothing since his arrival and if not for drogba's resurgence we would have out of all competitions this season, the lad is evil. Imo

Yes - his impressive haul of trophies at Chelsea is far superior.....

If Torres was a Chelsea player for all the time he´d been at Liverpool he would have won a title as well as 2 FA Cups by now.

Somehow I doubt that Torres is shedding a tear at missing out on that 1 Carling Cup winners medal with Liverpool.

Besides Torres would much rather be playing in great Champions League nights like last night - something that´s a distant memory at Anfield these days.

@Jeremy, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who knows that Torres single handedly weakened the Chelsea team and got Carlo sacked, same can be said for Avb, a few goals from Torres would have won a few more matches and Avb would have retained his job, so far RDM seems to be implementing the lessons he has learnt so far. Never count on Torres...I will declare free drinks in my bar the day we finally sell him.

Yea you could tell that by the way he was celebrating at the end!.

Why has this got into a battle between Chelsea and Liverpool fans? Torres left Liverpool because he only thinks of himself. That's clear. He never "loved" the club. He loved the fact that he was their star striker. He had no loyalty to Liverpool just like despite what he said, he had no loyalty to Atletico.

He went where the money (and titles) were. A modern day selfish player who can be excellent but doesn't have the attitude to really excel at what he does!

For me his best work was as a lone striker. He likes to grab the glory. Chelsea's system doesn't work that way.

Because Liverpool fans are swamping the Chelsea board with their bitterness and jealousy.

If they all just stayed on their own board then nobody would be talking about Torres or about how shi´te Liverpool are

I agree. They moan and delete you if you go on their boards but are quite happy to invade others!

I've stopped going on the Liverpool boards as they can't debate and just delete!

The dressing room has let him feel lost. Similarly to AVB, as the personnel who actually make the decisions around here, they gave him a trial period, decided he wasn't their kind of individual, and have cut him loose.

The next time Torres scores will tell one hell of a story. I could name the players that'll approach him first in celebration, followed by the one's who slowly walk over and pat his head.
