Arry got lot of credit for the good job he did at pompey, and rightly so. Should he then also be held responsible for the current mess?

But Harry R has a very persuasive tongue, and he is able to get more money from a board than any other manager I know. So, I think HR needs to carry some of the responsibility.

I wouldn't blame Redknapp for the mess Pompey are in, not the fans, not anyone at the club at the moment.

The mess was created by Gaydamak, Peter Storrie and those lot, followed by the string of so-called 'fit and proper' owners that followed.

Such a shame, because Pompey are a great club with great fans.

The problems at your club were and are down to the various owners you have had over the last few years, whilst Harry was there his wheeling dealing kept your club punching with the big boys, the problem seemed to be various owners thought spending money the club didn't have was the way to keep the club in that situation with other perhaps not so gifted managers.
The ones to suffer are always the fans.
