Antonio Valencia returned to Manchester United's squad but Anderson (hamstring) Nani (bruising) and Phil Jones were absent from the flight to Spain. The Red Devils' 20-man travelling squad included teenager Paul Pogba, surely a further sign that the young French midfielder is ready to spurn the offer of a lucrative contract from Juventus.
Paul Scholes was there too, although whether the veteran starts is open to debate given United are 3-2 down after the home leg and face a tricky trip to relegation-threatened Wolves, who were bottom of the table when they beat Ferguson's men at Molineux last season.
Sir Alex Ferguson: "We are finding (the Europa League) more difficult than we thought. We are finding it more difficult than playing Wednesday-Saturday in the Champions League. We don’t know why it is, but it seems that way. We are not used to it, obviously, and to marry the two together we need a big squad of players. I think we can win the game on Thursday, but will it be enough? A 2-1 win would not be enough. We have to score three goals or win 2-0."

Athletic may be without talismanic striker Fernando Llorente after he missed training with a hip muscle injury. If he misses out Gaizka Toquero may start in his place, unless Marcelo Bielsa opts for a lone striker in Iker Muniain. Midfielder Oscar de Marcos is also a doubt, while defender Borja Ekiza has returned to training and centre-half Fernando Amorebieta is back from a suspension.
Marcelo Bielsa: "There is still one game to go so what we have achieved will only have value if we repeat it. An indication of the type of opponent we face is that they needed very few chances to score two goals."

City fans will claim that they threw the tie knowing that you were out of Europe, so as not to give you that extra advantage.
