Townsend is out on loan and we have Gio on the bench, Harry will NEVER play Gio but would give Townsend a chance...so the answer is yes for me

No.
But it has caused the likes of Kranjcar to atrophy when they were needed to step up on demand when injuries came etc.

RRP I agree with you, but this is the same manager who bought in all the young talent at WHU, the likes of Defoe, Lampard, Ferdinand and Joe Cole

Chet - Good point, but it was a different situation at West Ham, they were struggling and they didnt have any other option but to give those young lads a chance!
