Do any of you still watch Cesc Fabregas videos on YouTube and hold back the tears Because I certainly don't

We didn't show enough ambition for him, lets hope that doesn't happen twice.
==========
to be honest, i'm worried that it will.
arsenal were leading us to believe that the podolski deal was a crossed t and a dotted i away from completion, but then podolski came out and denied that was the case.
last summer wenger said he expected to have a 'busy window'; as soon as the season ticket renewal date passed, he said that there would be 'one or two' new arrivals before trotting out the 'x, y and z are like new signings' line.
with that in mind, no matter how much we hear podolski's name mentioned now, i can bet we won't hear it again from the club once the season ticket renewal deadline passes.

We've got a massive waiting list for season tickets though, we're not in danger of failing to sell up.

Making Cesc the captain was an inspired decision by Wenger. Fabregas lead the team fantastically well imo. Most games he set a great example. He wasn't the loudest but he always provided us with moments of magic in nearly every game- which encouraged the team and gave everyone more confidence.
Also, like Batmanu said, we didn't really have any other options. Wasn't Nasri our vice captain for one or two games as well

To anser your question. From time to time I watch Fabregas videos. The guy is fantastic to watch and imo one of the best midfielders in the world.
I do think at the time he was given Arsenal captaincy he did well in the beginning. After the Word cup he was injured a lot and Barca stuff and players distract him from Arsenal. At one point it was cristal clear for him he would leave Arsenal but knew that Wenger would do all to keep him. Instead to be honest to talk with Wenger about his situation he played a bad game with Arsenal.
That is what I never will forgive and cant forget.

We had no other options as captain really. RVP too injury prone, TV out for all of last season, Gallas gone...

You guys had Almunia, he should have had it, but no. Wenger is an anti-Spanish basque-ard!

Almunia was actually captain a couple of times
