don't get me wrong, at the least he must have some good man management skills and everything else above average, but lets be honest, he's only inherited one of the best football teams ever. He's also had a lot of money to spend as well as a great academy. His tactics are never going to change due to barca's philosophy. I'm sure he's made a few changes but all he really has to do is pick the squad
people often criticize JM for only being good because he's spent loads, which is ridiculous as he not only got a name for himself by getting a small portugese team who's name I keep on forgetting into europe for the first time, and somehow won the CL with porto. All due respect but I can never remember a time where the portugese league was that dominant a force in the CL. He then moved to chelsea and won everything but the CL, and then in a time where italian football was in decline he won the CL again with Inter (don't think anyone was expecting that until he did it) and could possibly win it with Madrid, who he is likely to win la liga, which means he'll have reached 4 leagues in different countries, something only he has done. Even though I'm an arsenal fan and I don't like his style I don't get how people can fail to acknowledge him. He's the only manager I'm scared of arsenal facing.
Main reason I'm making this article is because I don't get why Pep gets so much more praise than JM even though Pep has had everything handed to him on a plate, he hasn't really had to manage an average/bellow average team to prove his capabilities. He's litterally having a real life version of football manager right now. JM on the other hand has started with not a lot and earned every ridiculous transfer budget he's ever had

he only employs them against barca tbf. against other teams they are superb at times.

quebecelt - i think they're both good managers - you cannot questions mourinho's record of winning a league title in every country he's been in and he's won 2 cl's with two different clubs. obviously he has a way of doing things. some may not like it. i dont think he's all that negative. only when he has to be ultra negative then he will play that type of football like against barcelona for example but if you watch their football against the rest of the league, its far from boring
also on the diving issue, i suggest you look at some barcelona players. they can dive and feign injury and exxaggerate contact as much as any of mourinho's men
i like pep because of the football he's got barcelona playing. its pretty much perfect football and he's won something like 13 trophies in 4 years of managing them. ridiculous record.

Mourinho is a much better manager than Pep Guardiola in my opinion but I do have one criticism to make about Mourinho that he will never be a long-term manager of any club unlike Ferguson or Wenger or Shankley or Paisley.
Guardiola has the most talented team which consists of many players who have grown playing with each other their entire life.

Mr. as I posted earlier, Pep was the Barca youth coach for 4/5 years before becoming 1st team manager.
He had a LOT to do with building that team.
2 different men 2 different styles and 2 different sets of circumstances.
Wait a minute I don't like Chelsea either.
