It finally happened. A 4-1 loss at home was the last straw.

Lets all get behind the lads in the next home game on Tuesday and show support

So. That's that then

Agree with Deep Sigh. Must get behind the team on Tuesday. Must ensure we get the win against Northampton, and amass the points we need for safety asap.
I would like to praise
1) Ben Robinson, who I always had faith in , to do the
right thng in the right way.
2) Pesch for all his effort over the last three seasons, and I hope the guy has success in the future.
3) I feel my fellow contributors who have been so strongly anti-Pesch for months, have dealt with the news in a very considered and reflective way.
I have normallly reflected the optimistic pragmattic view that Pesch and the players would turn this round. As I left the ground I realised that Pesch would have to go, and I was relieved that the deed was done, before I had returned home.
I dont think I was wrong to take such a view, but I am reminded that Terraceman tried to assure me that with Pesch gone , everything will go back to what it should be. I think & hope he is right.
Where is Terraceman?? Everyone wants to see you back!
I know the game rather pailed into insignificance, but even allowing for a poor Brewers performance, I was impressed by Torquay.
For the Brewers I thought Harriet and Jack Dyer did well, Justin Richards (despite the penalty debacle) battled hard and Ronnie (it would have been good to see him score!), Mags and Aaron had much better second halves. Thanks also to the last two who came to applaud the Popside fans.
Lets move forward!
C'mon you Brewers

I have returned Brewerdave, thank you for the kind words. A lot of ifs and buts now, some extremely hard graft and motivation plus some very important decisions to be made. Ben took a brave decision in appointing Pesch which sadly for all concerned hasn't worked out, he's not usually one to be rushed into decisions so i confess i'm not sure what will transpire, i am sure that we have more chance of surviving now though !
