Following the departure of Pesch do we seek a quick fix or long term prospect? If we go quick fix could upset the whole balance but long term could be planning from the BSP....! Suggestions guys?

paul buckle , he is the man who will turn things around

a word of warning - don't think buckle is the answer to your problems, he will be just a continuation. he played a form of football that was generally disliked at plainmoor, he brought in kick and rush players and it was a relief when he left to go to bristol where he got well and truly found out.
robins would be the answer for you guys and on the evidence of yesterday whoever comes in has got a huge job ahead of them as you really were pitiful. your defence was an embarrassment and the keeper might as well have not been in goal. impressed with your 22 but other than that nah, there was nothing. and why is your support always so quiet? aren't you ashamed that league two forums are always laughing about the silent area that is the pirelli stadium? poor on and off the pitch we won't miss you next season!

We won't miss you either, mr anonymous U13558 - we've only managed one point from your last four visits to the Pirelli so it will be a welcome gap on our fixture list!!
I also thought Jack Dyer (22) was the only glimmer of light on a dark afternoon for us.
Thanks for your opinions of Mr Buckle. Surprised that promotion back to the league and a play-off final not good enough for you. Noticed that a lot of your lads followed him to Bristol which must say something about him. We'll have to wait and see who else throws their hat into the ring. The chairman has a good reputation and with the England training facilities at St Georges Park at our disposal I suspect the switchboard operator's going to need some assistance in the morning!
You are right that the Pirelli is quiet. Wish I knew the answer to that one. Always seem to make a racket when we go away.
Sorry that you feel that we should be 'ashamed' or laughed at, but this is a friendly forum so I'll wish you all the best for the remainder of this season and good luck in League 1 for next.

My shout is still Nicky Law, he's done a superb job at Alfreton with little resources available.

Okay, I'll bite..
Check out respective average attendances this season and you'll find that Albion's are higher than Torquay's. Considering the respective league positions, that's a surprise.
At this point I would sneer, but if you check out our anonymous friend's details it seems that they have only just joined JA606. My bet - a bitter, twisted Port Wail 'fan' or maybe a newly sacked - no, it couldn't be, could it..?

Nicky Law may not be a bad appointment, he has worked miracles at Alfreton, shown loyalty and knows none league football as well as anyone, could certainly bring some aspiring talent in. But lets wait and see who wants the job, there may be some suprises !
