Revive the 90s rivalry

United fan in peace. I was just thinking about this, but wasn't the Premier League much more exciting when our two teams were battling it out year after year in the 90s and early 00s? I think it'd be great when you get back to full speed and start challenging for titles again, because, let's face it, we're the two teams with the best stadia, the best history (barring Liverpool), and the best club cultures. That said, I do enjoy trouncing the noisy neighbours. Peace.

Loads and loads of respect?

Keane showed plenty of that when he tried it on with Viera in the tunnel and Viera went hiding.

I agree bloodred, good times.

Hiding??

He was standing there...

When they went out on the pitch Vieira bossed the first half, scoring the opener in the process. It was only when Fergie got Keane in at half time Keane started to play...

He went off pretty quick when Keane was coming after him.

Well I wouldn't want Paddy in my hide and seek team if he thinks the tunnel, where he is supposed to be alongside Keane, is a good hiding from the Irishman...

Vieria winding KEane uop in the tunnel and running out knowing he had done what he wanted to.

The one that always sums it up for me is that picture of Keown screaming at Nistelroy after the cheating got Vieira sent off by going in like he was going to stamp on him or something and when Vieira lifted his leg to defend himself threw himself on the ground aas if hed been shot. Cheating

As you can tell that one still annoys me.

Hmm. I suggest you watch this incident again. Your bitterness has clouded your memory I think.

I am Gooner ! (U5613)

RVN didn't even go to ground!

It is absurdly biased to focus on RVN in a game where Arsenal showed a distinct lack of professionalism, to be honest.

You should be ashamed of your team for that day, and if I were yoiu, I'd be trying to forget it.

Best United rivalry of my lifetime, especially from 2002-2005.
