So Terriers lets get down and dirty with the 'nitty gritty'
THIS IS A MUST WIN, no matter jk boots will have you believe. We need to at least keep the margin between both TOWN and both Sheffield clubs as it is and preferably close the gap as much as possible we do however have a game in hand on them both!
So Simon Grayson has replaced Leek Lark. Lets have a look at our form over his first 6 games
W D D W D D
That’s a consistant pattern but only gives us 10 points out of a possible 18. Its not dire but not great is it?
Chesterfields form L L W D D D is not what you would exactly call ‘pathetic’ but this run of results has rooted them to the bottom of the league 1 table.
Im struggling to find much enthusiasm to write this for you guys today, im publicly made my feeling clear on 606 at my disappointments in the team at the moment. Some may be more optimistic than me but ill be honest and say over the past few weeks ive really not enjoyed watching time except for the fist half at bury where we did everything right. At home performances have left me frustrated and deflated during the games and after theyd finished. The performances have been absolutely dog dirt and if we had won them then I couldn’t complain too much but draws are killing us.
I havent been making score prediction recently because it no good me saying I think we will win when I hand on heart don’t believe it will happen.
Someone cheer me up please!
Town team news:
Damien Johnson out for 3-4 weeks with a grade 2 hamstring tear. Oscar Gobern is out through injury and likewise with Tommy Miller.
My Predicted Starting XI:
Smithies
Hunt ....Calamity Clarke.....Morrison.....Woods
Ward....Arismendi.....Kaye....Roberts
.........Rhodes............ Novak .......
Dont know naff all about chesterfield tbh we don’t need to know owt about their team tbh, they are rubbing rags and we should be destroying joke outfits like them at the bottom. However their starting lineup from Saturday vs the franchise was
Lee
Hurst, ……Trotman……,Thompson,….Ridehalgh
Talbot,……. Allott,……. Moussa,…….Whitaker
……………..Lester,…. Bowery

But it's a team of substandard players that Grayson built!
And don't say he had no money because he spent 500 grand on Danny Pugh and he can't even get in the team!

Clive , Blame Bates he is the one cleaning up at your so-called club, & long may ot continue !!

I do blame Bates for appointing Grayson and keeping him for three years.

What, even when he got you promoted ?
You clown

He got us promoted on the last day of the season by a point, with the same number of points you got last season.
We had Howson, Kilkenny, Johnson, Gradel, Beckford, Becchio and Snodgrass in that team, except when Grayson decided to drop Beckford and Howson.
We lost four in a row without scoring with that team!

Clive your wrong, you went up with 86, we finished 3rd with 87.
Makes no odds, 87 in some seasons woul have has us as league champs.

Yeah there you go then, even worse.
It makes plenty of odds because we were 9 points behind Norwich when we had a better team.

players are not great..johnsons average lower championship, same as kilkenny(on a good day) howson wanted out, gradel wanted out and beckford certainly did..
becchio still there because nobody wanted him and nobody offered anything like for snodgrass..
too many players not happy, not with the manager but their pay and conditions.. brought on by this constant stream of sh-te from fans and commentators about a "big club in waiting etc etc"...
no longer and the pay and conditions match your new found position and its about time the fans/experts and the players realised it..
hard truth, but true none the less..

clive 500k is not the value of top championship play. nowadays u have to pay that minimum for a half decent lg 1 player.
leeds utd have found their true level mid table champs. ur a club with no ambition. we will wave when we eventually pass you.
