Precontract agreements mean nothing in terms of being binding so it really makes no difference whether he's signed one or not. However, I have wondered what the current situation is given SAF is clearly playing him at the moment, but it's not clear if that's:

so he cant use lack of first team action as the excuse for leaving/not United's contract

because he's trying to simply get him to change his mind by giving him first team appearances, which doesn't sound too much like Fergie

because he's signed a contract with United already, but if so why not announce it

so United can use his status as a first team regular to justify giving him more than a normal youth/reserve player would get as he broke through. Again this doesn't sound too much like SAF

because Pogba and United have agreed he will sign the contract that's already been offered if SAF proves he means what he says about the lad being a first team player and he has X number of appearances before the season end. Most likely IMO, but again unusual SAF is willing to bend, even if Im sure he'd say he was going to play him anyway.

If he was going to Juve, he wouldn't be anywhere near the club let alone on the pitch for 30 minutes! I was under the impression that the agent has messed up big time thinking he could get £40k a week at Juve......but that wasn't the case and quickly wanted to sign a 4 year deal. This is why agents are the real **** of football and when they are thrown out the game it's better for all!

So are you saying you think he has already signed a United contract 19mufc? If so why has it not been announced?

If he hasn't signed a contract with United then what do you mean by 'if he was going to Juve' he wouldnt be near the club let alone the pitch? Because the club still wouldnt know right now if he is 100% going to Juve or not because he can't sign a binding contract with Juve now anyway, so all they'd know for sure is he hasn't yet signed a new contact with United and still could.

I do agree with your view that SAF wouldnt play him if Pogba has said no matter what happens I'm leaving but I dont think anyone would say that's happened.

I think that there is a verbal agreement in place that he will stay at United. However, SAF can't give him the contract until he gets a few games under his belt, otherwise all the kids will be banging on the door. So now we have SAF stressing that he is a first team player and giving him as much time as is possible, so that the contract offer can be excused.

I believe SAF said at the beginning of the season we have to option to keep him another year, as we did with Berba.

I think its obvious enough he hasn't already agreed to leave, he wouldn't be playing. Its possible that he still has his head turned and Fergy wants to show him what it means to play for Utd, that or he has as good as agreed to stay.

Still a chance he could make the 10 apperances to pick up a medal too.

I think he's destined to sign a new contract soon, well I hope he is. I don't think there's any chance of the manager involving him this much in the last few games if he thought he was leaving, although, I am still wondering why the contract hasn't been signed to get this whole saga over and done with.
