Brandywell to Buttercrane

Second legs of the Setanta Cup tonight and difficult games in prospect for the 4 Irish League teams.
Really hope that one of us can pull off a result and really disappointed with my own team as we should have buried Derry City in the 1st leg. However looks like Big Davy will select a full strength team tonight (for a change) with the exception of the injured Aaron Burns.
Would love to have been going but bad memories on my last visit when after the game we were escorted half way round County Donegal, minus a few bus windows, and got home to Belfast long after 1am. So no thanks.

Fortunately the game is on Setanta.

Still in with a chance so don’t write us off quite yet and good luck to the other 3 sides, as we really need at least one team in the semi finals to keep the interest in this worthwhile competition

And well done again to the Football Authorities on another Irish Cup debacle.
Newry in, Ballymena out, Newry out, Ballymena in and now Newry back in.
At least we know who we are finally playing in the semi finals
Unless.......

Something about it was all Linfields fault as usual
Nothing constructive

Bad enough on here without wasters adding to it

Plus I was in a bad mood

hey Earl & the moron who had my previous comment deleted,

This is typical behaviour from a fringe element of Blues fans who go to games drunk out of their minds and then watch their team lose the game!

Last time I checked, we live in a democracy, if you don't like opposing points of view then go live in a cave! The real issue is that is story was printed by the BT and you just have been able to deal with this reality yet! Get a life!

You're correct and thanks for the input- Typical of that Linfield fringe element responsible for all the trouble lately.

They even attacked Glen men in Sligo and wrecked their own ground dressed as Derry City Supporters.
Now let me find the Telegraph articles relating to those incidents.
Oh wait, where are the headlines

Glad that a few of us can see a bigger picture and rightly condemn all violence, bigotry and schummery.

Earl,
You have a huge chip on your shoulder, oops. I'm sorry, that's your head!

Earl,
You are probably a nice person, please lighten up and face reality. Linfield's sore loser and drunk fans caused the problem in Derry. Nice to see you stick up for the Glens, but they have their own fans to do that. If you want to talk about hooliganism and bigotry, have your Grandma tell you about 1949 and Belfast Celtic!
Congratulations to the BT for having the guts to give this "story" the coverage it deserved, just as it did the Sligo event. All teams have fans who are jerks!

Enough already! Have a happy life!

The Peoples and Earl,
Search for one more comedian(?) and you will have formed the new THREE STOOGIES!

I'm sorrry, but I didn't believe that losing was so traumatic! Wishing you both a quick recovery, the "marchin' season" is just around the corner!
