Losing Nasri, Cesc and Clichy

For a start I don't think losing these three with lead to the collapse of our top 4 status because Cesc is often injured and is pining for a move, Clichy has been inconsistent over the last few years and I really don't think Nasri is an effective player in our system.
However, losing all of these three sends out a very, very negative message to the rest of the players and our rivals! It will show that we can't hold on to our top players any more. Hardly any incentive for a quality player to come to us and van Persie and our other top players will probably get fed up of seeing our best players leave around them, if all three of these do leave Wenger is going to need a landmark signing to keep the faith that Arsenal is not a stepping stone onto better things.

I agree with this. Its not the fact that the players are leaving as they havent helped us win anything anyway but my concern is that wenger may not replace them with top players and just get in a lot of youngsters again
And that may encourage our other players to start questioning their futures
However i have a feeling that we may get a few good players in this season although it doesnt stop me being concerned at the mo!

Even if we do get Mata and others it'll still irritate me that we can't keep the players we already have. We haven't been able to do that for years now!

Nasri is a ungrateful human being if he choose to move City for merely 20k difference in wages.

You are assumning that Wenger wants to keep them. As I just sais in my post, I dont see behind the scenes so cant say who wants to be ther or is a poor influence.

You just gave me a great idea for a post - Is Wenger just being shrewd? You can read it in a minute
