Viera's Comment on Scholes

The way i see it, Man Utd didnt bring Scholes back, he retired - then brought himself back. United never wanted him to stop playing.

Tevez on the other hand, was quoted to "never play for the club again". To go back on that, makes them look very, very, weak.

It would be different if Scholes was retired by United - but he wasnt.

Chicken, i just read that and was about to write an article on it, you've got it spot on!

If Tevez done that at United, Fergie would never let him in Manchester again let alone on the pitch.

Scholes made the decision to come back, i'm glad he did as we've suffered numerous injuries in central and the loss of Fletch for long periods.

Dont get me wrong, i would love Tevez at my club (Spurs) but Viera passing comment on this situation, when he is employed by the hypocrites down the road to United, is quite ridiculous.

Would be more accurate if he said:

"But for him [Scoles] to come back just shows how weak City still are, because when United brought back a player who was 37 they over took us and the players I helped bring to the club for enormous fees couldn't do anything to stop them"
