FITNESS?

I'm just trying to figure out why or how these so-called "freak" results have become such a regular occurance despite the change of manager. The players who played last night compared to the ones who played in our first horror show against Barnsley last season are almost completely different, so is it a fitness thing? Did Grayson always work them too hard in pre-season? Because it's a different manager and a different set of players to the ones who endured, Barnsley, Preston, Cardiff, etc.

What is others' take on this?

Even so SKB, you don't see this happen to other teams, do you?

The Preston 4-6 is very similar though. Just days before that we got 33000 in the 1-0 win over Sheff Utd.
Blackpool was purely Rachubka's fault which caused the sending off.
Cardiff was expected as they were on fire at the time with Chopra, Bothroyd, Bellamy, Burke and Whittingham all playing, the difference in class was frightening.

The Preston game was completely different.

We were 4-1 up and looked like scoring every time we went forward, till Grayson told the players to stop attacking.

Clive you colin, what proof have you got that SG told them? You may think he said that because of the way the team played on the pitch. Furnish us with the evidence and tell us the actual words he said.

Bates.
Clive is correct.
Grayson was waving his players back & asking them to sit deep. He wanted the players to sit on the lead & stop going forward, even when it was pulled back to 4-3.
I was sat in the West Stand just to the left of the dugout!

Grayson also came on the radio and said he told the players to sit back.

Write a letter to Grayson and ask him, although the man is a proven liar so he may tell you differently.

My opinion of Grayson was formed on actually following the club.
