Got to pick you up on one point there, you are not the most optimistic fan.............GotBetter is.
28 points off the top and 20 off the bottom. Sums it up really.
That was pretty grim. While we dominated, yet again, a bottom-of-the-table team, we can't seem to finish. Could we have played anyone else in the team? My own answer is, no. From the off, they went at it like a bull at a gate. Like the Arsenal game at Anfield, history again repeats itself by them scoring in the dying seconds. I actually though JamieC had a better game than usual, but, as has been said, the table doesn't lie. We really are deluding ourselves if we think the squad is good enough for a top four place. You can 'transition' till you are blue in the face people; our squad and management simply are not good enough, and that saddens me to say it. I think we've got the mighty Wigan soon; gawd help us. Agree with all of the above, 2 be 28 points from top spot with 9 games to go is not and should not be acceptable to a club like ours, 2 up tonight with 13 mins remaining against QPR and end up losing just sums up our season, good cup runs are just papering over the cracks because we have to many mediocre players, time to give the likes of Shelvey & Sterling a run out.
Yes but who else is going to come in with their 5 year plan?
I'm sick to death of this magical 5 year plan - we seem to have gone through 4 of them !
