Wait a few more games until the new manager effect is over before assessing whether we are truly better than we were under AVB.
Totally agreed.
AVB = Steve Bruce (at best).
Were a different team albeit a little average under RDM.

A little average ??
Under RDM we´ve won 4 out of 5 and the only loss came to City away where City have won every single game this season and they needed a dodgy penalty to do it.
More to the point, he should never have been hired!

Last night felt like AVB was back in the dugout
We have no plan B and no quality backups.
We somehow need to rest mata but we cant as we crumble without him. I understand last night lineup with spurs at the weekend. I personally think we were just a bit unlucky and a bit outplayed in moments.
City have the best squad in the league by far you cant just expect us to steamroll them on their unbeaten home ground.
But we could have been little more like Chelsea of recent times.
Giving the ball away, matched in commitment but couldn't match them in the work rate apart from Torres and Luiz.
When Torres was off, I knew we would be playing wtih 10 men from there on

Exactly and they needed a debatable penalty to win the game.

Stone wall penalty and stupid mistake from Essien i'm afraid.

Hansen and Dixon both agreed that it was debatable on MOTD last night.

The players attitudes have got us in the Europa League. All firing AVB has done is put into question are ability to get back into the CL next year.
AVB would've seen heads roll in the summer, the new manager (or RDM) may decide to give them another chance like Andre did last year. Then are recent predicament will seem like paradise.

For me it was a stone wall penalty, i can´t even see the remotest doubt.
Our penalty against Napoli was stonewall and so was this one.
AVB is great and sacking him has done far more harm than good.

Strange, i didn't even misspell any words in that particuplar post. Illiteracy being my personal querk
I notice that too. You always make a long post and then the obligatory post after that correcting all your mistakes <
