Manager of the year has to go to Lambert or Rodgers but going by previous years it will probably go to either Mancini or Fergie depending on who wins the league.
Pardew has had a good season but Pulis? Long balls into the box, bad tackles….his tactics would not be out of place in the 1950’s. Is any wonder English teams get ripped apart in Europe if people think Tony Pulis is a good manager! Stoke have spent serious money on players too (Crouch, Jones, Jerome,Palacios, etc….)
For the money he’s spent (or hasn’t spent) and the style of football they play, it has to be Brendan Rogers for me.
I am entirely biased, however, having not read a single pre-season league table prediction where we weren't in the bottom 5; and having read a fair few where we were actually bottom, I think Pardew deserves to win it.
He's come along with his dust pan and brush and swept up all the gloom, transformed our academy, whilst not bending over backwards to player power, and overseeing a £37 million profit for the club
Pulis? He's been average all season
