I quite like Djourou. Obviously I'd prefer Kos but he's a decent solid defender.
Just think, it could have been Squillaci!
Oh well we've beaten teams with ten men before
FFS.
On the bright side, Emile Heskey is playing upfront for Villa.
That's not good news Verminator

They don't have N'zogbia right ... balances it out abit...
We'll batter them anyway so it won't matter who is in defence.
Hope it's not too bad and he'll be fit for the next game
Oh well. Djourou will help us on set pieces. Villa won't be attacking much today so Djourou won't need to defend much.
Kos out 45 minutes before the game.
If only Per wasn't injured
Djourou makes me too nervous!!!!
I just hope DJ isn't sent off or gives a penalty.
Hopefully it's not a serious injury.
Other than Djourou having an height advantage I think him and Squillaci are pretty close ability wise.

Djourou..Heskey...now we just need Bramble and we have the Holy Trinity of Football
IMO Squillaci is slightly better than Djourou
To be fair on Djourou he done a decent job for us last season
When was the last time we had a pre-match injury, Oete?
John's being optimistic, I think he just made up a stat:
Arsenal have never lost a game at home when Djourou has played 90 mins . He's more than able to replace Koscielny

It is not fair to Djourou also. He has been given about 30 minutes to warm up and start in the center of defense.
