Hmm, not exactly the world beater we wanted

Is he the fella that was o. Loan from Man City?

yes..
he looked streets better than what we had in midfield in the games against bournemouth..
still, let clark coach that instinctive play out of him..
lets hope he just lets him play...and we have a hod carrier to cover for him..

Ever since he played against us i said to my mates we should sign him but never thought it would happen as he was at Man City.....he tore us to shreds in the play offs and their manager took him off....quality signing and will have a massive impact this season...!!!

Ok then 38, let's be positive.

Let's hope that Lee Clark doesn't turn a silk purse into a pigs ear

Tore us apart at Saltergate good speedy player who is able to play wing or behind attack ! Scored against us for both Bournemouth & Chesterfield...

I am convinced that he will be quality for us and I think there is more to come ! new CB & Striker now for me personally people... UTT

If he is here to take pliks place, it ain't going to improve us from last season , we could have done with him and pliks but that now won't happen , anyway so we stil need improving on last season , cos we wasn't good anough last season to go up, all we have done so far is replace what we've lost so far .

If he's as good as the reports I hear then he'll be miles better than the lazy, selfish git called .

loui..
we got 87 points last season.. with a very small amount of tweaking and one or two more "enlightened" substitutions we would have gone up..
we played very negative, sterile football with a lot of kicking the ball to nowhere in particular..
the improvements required are small in the sense of new players and the changes required to go the little bit extra in games are also reasonably minor, thats why i was so p-ssed off last season.
watching them fail to do that wee bit extra to win games was very hard to take..
we just require a "happy medium" this season and a slightly more positive approach to the start of games and during games that it becomes obvious we can win..
the personnel on the pitch and the staff off it have to start singing from the same hymm sheet..

bringing in an attacking midfielder makes no difference if you dont attack very much..
very much like bringing in a pacy, footballing centre half is a waste if you are going to form up in a square in your own box..
its not the players its how they play..town had/have some decent footballers who just havent been playing as they can/should..

Just want to add soton manager ain't happy at all with gobern , he says he is very angry because he offerd him a very good deal to stay and even moved players on to fit him in there squad for next season .

it sounds like we have 3 good new players. Lets just hope Clark lets them play ....... and play to win, if not we might not see the best in them !

I tell you what, these new championship managers, their a bunch of whinging twits...
Fergy has just proved what full weight cockend he really is, he's just taken away any doubt.....
UTT.. In Lee Clark I believe (for one last time)

loui..
i dont think goberns here for the money..he wasnt a first 11 starter very much and he was offered a good deal to stay.. its maybe more of a football move rather than pilkingtons money move..as i said pilkington would sit in barcelonas 3rd team for a few quid more a week than he was getting here..
