Sadly, I can't see anything other than a win for that lot tonight. Alright, we slipped up against Walsall last week in a similar fixture so it can happen, but they are a better team IMO than Chesterfield.

Saturday will be tricky for United away at Hartlepool and there is more potential for dropped points in that one. But that, a la Orient for us, is the sort of game you should be winning if you truly want promotion.

Our best chance for me of pipping them will come right at the end. I honestly believe they have a trickier end to the season. MK Dons away, a tough fixture against a side with a point to prove now. Stevenage at home, they may be falling off the pace a little but we know all too well what they are capable of. And Exeter away on the final day, who may well need to win to stay up.

There are still plenty of twists and turns left yet. Let's just hope we can navigate them better.

If chezzie get a draw that will be a great result for us However, if we continue in our current form (and everybody else does too!) we will be second at the end regardless of tonight's result. IMHO the game against udders is the real big one!

But Mike you are forgetting the goal difference advantage that they have against ours, their 32 to our 22, should they only draw they will go 2nd on goal difference.

Unless you mean we'll finish second at the end of the season if everyone carries on with current form?

I tell you one game that people are overlooking that has the potential to be a decider. Carlisle at home.

They are in fine fettle now and whilst we should win, that will be a stern test of our credentials.

TBH with you lads, after Sunday I think Chezzy have got no chance. They'll have all been on the ale Sunday night, b*gger all will have happened on Monday. That gives them yesterday and this morning to prepare; not ideal!

Agreed Mikey boy, whilst their physical condition may not be the best after sundays exploits (and after Sunday nights no doubt too ), they will no doubt be giving it a good go as they have the small matter of relegation looming, I doubt they'll give the Blunts an easy ride....we'll see but yeah, cannot see them winning unfortunately, but lets get behind them, stranger things have happened

Afternoon Chaps,

We're all hoping that they're still as drunk as skunks, a bit like Michael and myself on any given day.

Join me Michael?
