I know where you're coming from here, and I know the point you're trying to make, but the reality is that we were offered the opportunitty to change the time and date of this game, and we declined and took the money from the televised game.
My god Spurcat you have the memory of an elephant where Spurs are concerned.
Typically Spurs, always the money
we declined and took the money from the televised game.

i wonder who made that decision ?
Anyone else remember their keeper?
it's not a bad spurs side that you know. take gardner out and that's a top 8 team now.
Tainio never got good enough chance, I like him
Yes I recall this. Spurcat is wrong on this occasion. We were never offered the chance to change the time of the game. We had played on the Sunday or even Monday, then again on the Thursday, and a lunchtime kick off on the Saturday v Chelsea. Being good Spurs and all that, we hardly kicked up even a stink.
how would it have been good for Spurs mate?
Would swap the front line as they were playing then for what we have today but, other than that, the current team is much stronger. Interesting that Defoe was on the bench. Some things never change!
Also didn't realise Taarabt had been around so long. Always felt he wasn't given a chance with us but quietly pleased he's not proved to be much better with QPR
Taino was a legend!
Remember when he riled up Dogbark in the CC final by pointing to the scoreboard
