that could leave us hamstrung for years
--------
Dos I would suggest that thats going to be the case regardless...

Take the CVA route and the party purchasing will find themselves trying to mitigate the ticketus deal (if not part of the bid team) and even if part of the team it doesnt mean the £24m loan just goes away...then its a matter of creating cash for a team the will need investment and strengthening with no european income...

take the liquidation route and its 3 years before europe is possible. meaning turnover for the club is at a level of around £35m per annum which is almost the same as current outgoings.

As for the other parts I have no idea. I have had little understanding of anything that Duff and Phelps have done thus far to be honest...from the farcical submission of the administration documents to the delay in the player status and why they have not been pushing like hell to have the position of Whyte clarified with the court of sessions I dont know...

Rip up the Ticketus deal...FFS!

When did the administrators get that ruling?

Only Paul Murrays' consortium have a deal with Ticketus...all others will have to make do with their binding contract

To be honest i've had it with all this . It's pretty obvious Whyte is not going to go quietly so even if we can come out without liquidation he'll make it difficult. (I don't think he's thought that through to be honest, i'd rather not be looking over my shoulder for the rest of my days).

If we are liquidated we lose all our players, which means every one not just the first team. Starting again seems like a big ask.

Kudos to David Murray and Craig Whyte, your work has just about ruined a once proud club.

Dos, since this whole debacle came about I have searched in vain for a bear to have the honesty to ask that the next Rangers are "more humble". A truly decent and honest thing to say. 100% fair play to ye.

I am not surprised it was you either

Spoken like a true statesman Dos. Good Luck to you pal, it is so refreshing to read this. It has made me humble to read such a thoughtful comment.

The patter on here, etc is exactly the type of thing I heard when things were going well for us.

If the administrators do decide to renege on the £24m deal Ticketus did with Whyte, the finance company becomes the club's largest unsecured creditor, albeit with the judgement on a potential HM Revenue Customs bill still to come.

"Ticketus have rights [to future season tickets] so if the administrators breach them, they become the largest unsecured creditor," said Murray.

"Obviously, to exit administration through a CVA [creditors voluntary arrangement], Rangers have to reach agreement with the major creditors.

"That was always the reason for talking to Ticketus. The club can't afford to stick to the original deal, so what we wanted to do was restructure that.

"But if we can't do that, we'll pursue other options.

"We're in discussions just now because we need to come to a decision on that soon."

Dos alludes to what Walter said in his description of Rangers.
If you are referring to us pulling away from you and rubbing it in then surely that's allowed?

Hëll yes...

Another 2,3,4 in a row for you guys then we'll hear the same sort of triumphalism you guys got back in the day.

Swings n roundabouts....

DeBear, some of your lads have rubbed our noses in it for over300 years. A newco should be used as an opportunity to shed some unwanted baggage. Same for us as well, what d'ya think? A new Old Firm?
