I will get the wum treatment here but what is he now?

There are better midfielders than him (imo a lot better) and better finishers

His goals this season have, imo, hidden a very average season for rooney compared to his usual standards

Carrick, i am agreeing with you. I get summed too but tonight is not the time for a forensic examination into what we need. When i look at barca, Madrid, Bayern´s midfield i get so envious.

In fact, earlier in the season, i even cast admiring glances towards Newcastle´s midfield. Anyhow, massive game and a massive result.

Loving how quickly within one season De Gea has gone from villain to hero. Has there ever been such a dramatic turnaround in a player's fortunes.

Only 21, still developing. The future is very bright. I would disagree with Fergie and consider the Spaniard as a future club captain ahead of Jones.

I still think games like this would be perfect for Huntelaar! I hope Fergie signs him this time around. I see Chich playing a more Solksjaer role and Wellbeck is not ready to play every game yet but he's definitely the future.

We put a lot of balls in the box but nobody on the end of them. Huntelaar would be. I think he's the perfect for for us. But we do need a more creative midfielder too.
