but lets be content at lest mr wenger is:
"But I am very active on the phone."
talking to who though, his girlfriend lol
This is good news - wouldn't we all rather this than spending all our money on the players who have been transfered so far this season? We all need to accept that good, well thought out signings need time to get sorted out and agreed upon.
he has money to spend, why doesnt he move first, get his businees done and then go about teaching his team how to defend.
the man is becoming a clown. our best players are leaving because of his refusla to invest. it will be rvp next summer, and who can blame them?
This is sadly Wenger's weakness all over. Other clubs
plan well ahead eg Man Utd and we are sitting on our hands and dithering.
Had Wenger acted decisively in June Nasri might not be talking about leaving.
It is his possible sale rather than those of Fabregas and Clichy which highlights our problems.
None would have been surprised if Fabregas had left
even if we won a trophy. I think that many fans would also have not been sorry to see Clichy go because frankly his form and poor decision making in recent seasons has cost us key points.
However, I don't believe that there are many supporters who will accept readily the departure of Nasri.
