The farce is people comparing David Silva to valencia LOL

Come on Silva's assists are usually slide through/ defence splitting passes

Not balls smashed into the box

I actually think Valencia's best position is RB hes not inteligent enough to play as a winger teams will find out how to defend against him

RB he would be more dangerous coming from deep with time and space on the ball

I think the fact that Antonio's surname is "Valencia" puts him at a direct disadvantage. I mean, Valencia are pretty crap in the Spanish La Liga so by extention AV is crap.

Walcott however has a name synonymous with success. Derek Walcott, Clyde Walcott...are all world reknown innovators in their respective fields. Theo > AV anyday of the month

What?

They're 3rd and are one of La Liga's most successful teams!

Typical ignorant Manc comment.

Deary me...you certainly don't watch Spanish football these days do you

Historically they're a big club, you muppet.

So your 'humorous' analogy failed.

Dubbed The New Wenger90 (U9163)

One word:

Liverpool

Youareverminated: you have been targeted for vermination: The Power Shift Of North London Must wait 5pur2 (U7073)

Well Chelsea beat the 3rd best team and they in turn were owned by Arsenal who Man United humiliated so I guess that makes Man United better than the aforementioned 2

PL Managers should take a leaf out of Biesla's book on how to play against United. Too bad that most PL managers are tactically clueless (this includes Wenger) and give United far too much respect.

We'll miss you Cesc! (U7147)

To play the way Athletic played, you have to have the personnel to play that way. Are they such players in the PL? It is also noted that playing like that against Man United wouldn't always give the desired result

I like this article.

Elaborate.

Yes I agree the technical standard of PL teams is far too inferior so those tactic won't be too effective.

Alexis Sanches or Antonio Valencia?

posted on 3/4/12

Sanchez only has 3 assists, poor return for a winger.

posted on 3/4/12

This article is delusional and totally hilarious. I'm a Gooner but claiming Walcott is better than Valencia is just preposterous. The funniest part was putting "Walcott" and "technique" in the same sentence. I swear I've got better technique than Walcott.

John at his hilarious best.

"Sanchez only has 3 assists, poor return for a winger."

So Valencia is better than Sanches now?

Man this was a test of the delusion these idiotic Mancs portray.

They just get dumber and dumber.

It seems there are a lot of Arsenal fans on this forum who love to make the rest of us look delusional or clueless.

Point out where I said he was better? 3 assists IS a poor return for such an expensive winger.

"3 assists IS a poor return for such an expensive winger."

Obviously you're insinuating that.
At least have the bottle to say it outright.

Typical.

Stats is the be it and all, when it's convenient.

Dubbed, why don't you give some reasons why sanchez is better.

posted on 3/4/12

It's not the be all and end all but sanchez doesn't look that special at Barca, not like he did at Udinese and Barcelona have looked worse since he's been there.
If he's a striker 11 goals is a poor return, if he's a winger 3 assists is a very poor return. Especially since he'll cost almost 40m Euros eventually.

Dribbling- Sanchez
Passing- Sanchez
Finishing- Sanchez
General technique- Sanchez
Vision and creativity- Sanchez
Speed- Debatable
Power- Debatable

Look at their actual capability on the ball.

Valencia wouldn't even be on the bench for Barca C team, let alone the first team.

A few decent games and he's ranked among the best in the world. Laughable.

Not everyone's a deluded Manc.
