we cant get a manager on the basis it might enablle us to keep one player who we might not otherwise keep.
that's my view anyway.
The Croatia coach was at White Hart Lane on Sunday
---------------------------------------------------------------------
He was also at Upton Park on Saturday and I wouldn't rule him out of taking over there when Big Fat Sammy gets the heave ho.
Didnt fat sam say he would walk if he didnt get them promoted this season?
I believe he did Decspur. Whatever, Bilic would be a far better appointment for West Ham than he would be for us.
I wouldn't want Billic as such but i still would perfer him to Rogers. Atleast Billic has lot's of experience in dealing with top class players. For me though it still has to be a class manager to replace Harry
rogers>bilic
----------------------------------------------------------
Neither for me thank you.
Spurcat (U3764)
Yeah that was me hoping there would be a job there for him.
I think everyones missing the point of this article to be fair
I'm with spurcat, neither for me to but if i had the choice it would be Billic all day long. Rogers is getting hugely over rated for doing a very good but not spectacular job at swansea. They still are in mid table and played just as good football under Martinez a few years back
don - not sure fergie would have had swansea higher up the table tbh.
Out of the names bandied around Moyes/Rogers/Bilic now I think personally I'd go with the experienced Moyes.

That's irrelevant. What is relevant is that there is no justification in believing that a manager who has had less than a full season in the PL, will have what it takes to sustain a consistent top 4 position in the PL, over many years.
Whether you like/appreciate Harry or not, there can be no doubt his achievements with our club, have considerably raised the bar when it comes to future managerial appointments. And at this moment in time, both Bilic and Rodgers fall short of this benchmark.
Jpb, holloway did a gd job at blackpool, owen coyle at burnley ....they all played excellent football, both over rated and both not good enough for a top team. I'm not saying rogers is this but he needs to prove it for a lot longer to take a job as big as spurs, i think it's knee jerk reactions from spurs fans that assume because sqansea play good football it means he would suit spurs, no thanks.
Dont think its going to happen. Besiktas is a done deal for Slaven after Euro, unless Croatia does well than he stays as national coach for a World Cup.
I wish he stays. I like how we play under him.
