Given recent events at Brandywell, do the FAI really want a load of Derry supporters going out to Poland?

Reiver, ok your on the wind up. But i can tell you as a "Southern" fan as you lads call us our support from up your side of the country is much appreciated.
I've met ROI supporters from Derry,Armagh,Lurgan, Newry and Belfast at ROI away matches and these lads sure know how to make a noise on the terraces. Always funny lads as well

CYBIG: The Republic is my second team after the boys with the Keltic Cross on their shirts. I have always found ROI based FAI fans to be decent, friendly and good fun. Not so the NI based FAI fans who often appear a bigoted, highly politicised lot. They actually seem to believe that supporting the ROI makes them more "Irish" than we folk who support OWC. What a cheek! It may make them more Republican, but definitely NOT more "Irish"! The fact is about 30% of the Irish people prefer to remain in the British Federation. The reaction of EXREPs(extreme Republicans) is to brand them as "Non Irish". I believe Franco did the same thing with the Socialists in Spain. If I happen to attend an FAI match, I make sure to go with friends from the Republic rather than any fellow Northeners who spend most of the time trying to work out what my religious/political background is!
