I was beginning to think I was the only one here with this opinion. Glad I'm not though.

I fully respect everyone's opinions on here but I'm afraid they completely differ to mine as far as David is concerned.

MR T I fall in the middle of the view that he has played well without ever looking like scoring.

To have a hard working none scoring central striker who puts a shift in..... You need 3-4 players around him who get 8-10 goals a season feeding off the scraps...

We ain't

Ngog the name is as laughable as Terry Connor!. Sordell n Ngog our big money signings this season, just glad we got our bloody moneysworth.

I think you are being very harsh on him. He has very little to work with. He is playing a role that is not his game. He has little to no support from the midfield so he is constantly up against the entire defence on his own. Give the lad a chance to play in a system that suits his game. Torres cant hit a barn door at the moment but the Chelsea fans are still backing him.

"Torres cant hit a barn door at the moment but the Chelsea fans are still backing him."

To be fair GG, Torres has previously proven he can hit a barn door..

He has loads to work with if he didn't he wouldn't touch the ball, if he was any good our midfielders would have loads of assists, turns out they haven't but have plenty of completed passes to him, you can lead a horse to water....

Ok hes scored 2 goals of which he created himself. What about every other goal we have scored this season? Yet our midfield still has next to no assists, which proves they arent supporting anyone, let alone Ngog. Eagles and Petrov are our highest assists from midfield, which are probably 80% crosses or corners. Ngog has 3, Klasnic has 4 and SKD has 3 as well as Wheater. NRC, Mavies, Pratley or Muamba dont even get into our top 6 for assists which shows they arent creating enough in the middle for anyone and probably why Ngog has struggled to score more because hes he and any other forward are having to create chances themselves.

Ngog actually has 5, only Petrov and Eagles have more. Stranded.

Doesn't prove they arnt creating simply proves what I've already said which is they are giving him completed passes which he does nothing with because he's garbage

Of course it does, we've scored more than Ngogs 2 goals this season and barely any were created by our midfield. What other options do we have? The majority want 4-5-1, fair enough, but who plays the lone striker? SKD, who by most peoples reckoning shouldnt be starting games. Klasnic doesnt work hard enough and doesnt last the game. Sordell does deserve a chance but thats down to OC and he sees him in training every day so its his call. Or we have Ngog who has 5 assists and 2 goals and works his socks off. Klasnic on stats would be obvious choice, but whenever he starts a game he just doesnt look interested and barely lasts past half time. Ngog is doing a decent job as the lone target man. Its not his fault the system and players dont support him. Thats down to OC and he should realise it. But its very unfair to blame one player, who for me has done a good job for us.

I have a very different opinion, I think he has played the single striker role much better than Klasnic or Davies could. I dont know Sordell but Coyle doesnt think he is ready so that is that.
As for his lack of goals I agree we havent supplied him with quality assists, he isnt missing chances every game. He does need a few for confidence though.

Only Wigan and Chelsea have had less % shots through the middle than us this season (59%). Only 1% mind aswell. We have too many instances where our wingers cross to no-one or shoot themselves. And is that true? Yes because Eagles(2.6spg) and Petrov (2.2spg) have the most shots of all bwfc each game. Why not try and pick out player or drill it low in the area?

Key passes? Well Miyachi averages 2.7, Petrov 1.8, Eagles 1.5, Ngog 1.2, Davies 1.1

Too much emphasis and control from our wingers, need to get more central, we need them to pick out players and stop being so selfish and shooting from narrow angles. Get it central and let Ngog shoot, rather than him scraping out half chances for himself and the wingers being wasteful time after time.
