Another 3 point gift from us for one of the bottom teams.
Well Liverpool aren't in the best form and will be looking towards the FA cup semi final so I don't think they'll beat us too badly, maybe only a one goal margin.
^ WOW i carnt belive your backing Liverpool. We are really bad, whoever gets the first goal will win
It will be a draw 2 bad teams only hope for us they rest players for fa cup
As bad as their form is, I still think Liverpool are favourites. They're still demolishing teams in terms of chances created and I can't believe players like Suarez will carry on missing them forever.
Put it this way, along with Hoilett, Bellamy would be our best player at the moment. And he's not even a regular first team starter at Liverpool.
Yes, but Suarez won't score if he is rested for the semi-final. We'll have to wait and see what team Kenny picks. Anyway, Reina's form won't matter.
Kean may bring in fresh players for this game too. It's hard to predict the result. I'm just hoping for the best, but I don't expect 0-0.
Well after sharing a big mac and an ice cream Rover and myself are going for a 2-1 win for Rovers. In this we was both unanimous!
With Villa 6 points clear and Wolves trailing by 6 points, it still looks like 2 teams from 3. Wigan are showing some spirit, but results are going against all the bottom teams.
Newcastle have, amazingly, joined the race for fourth place. They still have to play Wigan, Chelsea and Man City, so they'll have a big say in how the top and bottom of the table look at the end of the season.
And good for Newcastle too. They do give us a slight glimmer of hope if we go down, as how they came straight back up - not that I can see that happening if Coco is still in charge.
I'd rather not think about it.
I should have said it's 2 out of 4 to go down, or to stay up.
It's also 2 out of 4 for third and fourth place.
It's been an interesting season - there's still competition for positions at the top and the bottom. A pity we're fighting at the bottom.
Any preference for the Cup finalists?
There's no glimmer of hope Newcastle owner put millions in when they went down well i think he did
I think we will lose this one, over the years of being a Rovers fan I have noticed that if a team is on a horrendous run of form they always end it against Blackburn.
When Newcastle were relegated, Mike Ashley put the club up for sale. The club said, "Mike Ashley feels it would be unwise to appoint a team manager when the club is for sale", so coach Chris Hughton was in charge for the start of the 2009–10 season.
Hughton got off to a good start and in the 1–0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday he played his first transfer signing of the season, Danny Simpson. Hughton also signed Peter Løvenkrands and Fabrice Pancrate on free transfers and completed the loan signings of Zurab Khizanishvili and Marlon Harewood.
No big signings there! A team unloved by its owner and with its former coach as manager. A recipe for disaster, you might think, but they came straight back up.
That maybe true but did he not put money in to cover wages ?
Line up for tonight!
GK: Bruno Riberio
RCB: David Goodwillie CB: Nick Blackman LCB: Mark Bunn
RWB: Reece Hands RCM: Curtis Haley CM: Raheem Hanley LCM: Adam Henley LWB: Grant Hanley
ST: Paul Robinson ST: Jake Kean
What about Myles Anderson? How are we meant to win without him??
He's on the bench. He'll come on if we're 6-0 down and he'll rescue the match and we'll win 7-6.
I will score the winning goal with my extra slender nose, whilst simultaneously beeming the match live to millions around the globe with my large specially adapted satalite ears.
Millions will chant my name and I will become world player of the year, and have my picture on all government buildings, and world peace will prevail.
