I would take anything the Huddersfield fans say with a huge pinch of salt. After all, they were mouthing off before the game about how Lee would smash us all over the pitch 'again'.
Well fellas, I was there on Saturday and there was a distinct lack of smashing. However there was copious amounts of falling over like a big girls blouse any time an opposition player came anywhere near him. Followed by the obligatory tantrum that Super Nanny herself would struggle to deal with when said Lee didn't get what he wanted from that nasty horrible man, er sorry the referee.
And after a certain forward was firmly in Batth's pocket for 90 minutes, still think you're not a one man team eh
Up the owls!!!!
Dint see much of madine tbh?
Saw far more of him than Rhodes
Up the owls!!!!
The difference is that Udders are pretty much at the top of what they can realistically expect to achieve as a club in a small town, Wednesday are pretty much at their lowest (although on the up) being in League 1.
Owlstom did you really i think ull find i had a fair better view of the match as i sit bang inline with the centre
And briggowl if this comes back to bite u in the ar-se i will take pleasure in ramming it down ur throat.
So you had a far better view of what then Tez? Of Rhodes being in Batth's pocket and doing nothing for 90 minute
*minutes I take it? Good job you've got Lee eh
Up the owls!!!!
Just a general enquiry, were we to finish third (god forbid but very likely ) would we play 6th?
Cheers Monster
Think our only chance to snatch 2nd is MK to topple them and for us to win Carlisle on the same day, having beaten Udders, seeing as that was our most difficult assignment in the run in, im now confident we can win both the cumbrians and Brentford, not that it'll be easy for us like. If that goes our way then yes the pressure will then be on us but im confident we can hold on but whatever happens, this IS goin to the final game of the season!!
If u have carlisle away thats no easy game. not lost at home for 6 months since opeining month of season.
We are at home to them Tez
Carlisle, Brentford and Colchester are all tough games. I'm begining to resign myself to the play-offs. Having said that I had a reyt laugh the last time we were in them, it was epic at Brentford and of course in Cardiff.
tez....as we are currently taking pleasure in all the daft ranting that you lot were giving it a couple of weeks back. If we don't go up I'm sure you'll be loving it just as we are now!
Tez, did you mean their play off fixture ?
There's one thing..
Being on 83 points, we dunt have to look over our shoulder at the other massing play off potentials ( any 3 from 6 )
yeah playoff fina terriers vs gutted owls
I take it then that if that play off final does materialise, Lee will give us that smashing you were promising?
Up the owls!!!!
owlstom, your defender got a yellow last man and put his elbow out for lee to run into. dammed lucky it wasnt a red. quick thinking from alan alan lee
So then Tez, that was the sole reason for his pee poor 90 minutes was it?
Face it, for all your lots bluster about what he was going to do to us, he may as well have slapped a skirt and some lipstick on he went down that easily.
Up the owls!!!!
owl you scored from a freekick that was wrongly giving by the always useless refs and on the break when we had to commit men forward in search of an equaliser, you had a good start to the kept us under pressure for the first 30/32 minutes we then dominated till half time.
most of the second half we dominated the only time you saw the ball was on the odd counter other than the horrific freekick decision which cost us the game.
you played well but it was what i expected anyway but you really wasnt that much better than us and weve been poor for some weeks now excluding the charlton game.
You dominated the second half, eh?
What game were you watching exactly? If it wasn't for our finishing at times then we could easily have won 4-0. Please explain to me where your chances were.
Stop moaning about the ref and accept the better team won.
You edged the first half, I don't deny that but you're way off with your analysis of the rest of the game.
Up the owls!!!!
