He's allowed to do whatever he wants, doesnt mean we have to agree with him.

WRONG decision imo but what does roman care

posted on 22/5/11

yeh definitely the wrong decision, but to the few calling for Roman to leave, honestly?

Wow!

As much as i disagree with the man, i could never disregard all he's done for our club, he's been a saving grace.

The problem for me lies deeper in our board room

Why does he not just make himself the manager?

I'm with RA on this one.
I don't mind coming 2nd or losing but I do mind the rubbish we play now and the lack of fight.

I actually think some managers would be put of with working under Roman.. If his buying players etc. is as true as people say, and his on-off with splurging the cash... there doesn't seem to be consistant stability

Didi, I agree with you. Hopefully RA is going to get a young coach with new ideas to play aggressive football. We don't have win every game, but we will put fear in teams.

We've certainly lost our fear factor.

Not much. Actually not anything. I'm still sulking around after todays events. Losing Carlo has put a whole new spin on everything. Not sure what will happen until I know who's replacing him.

Apparantly it's Van Basten. Not sure if you seen my last post, but sources told me that we would have Hiddink as Director and Van Basten as manager, supposedly ment to be confirmed on the 4th of June.

Is there a particular style of football he's known for? Strengths? Weaknesses?

I admit im not familiar with him. With what Villa Boas pulled off this season o was hoping, if Carlo were to go(which he did), that we would pull him in.

From what i can remember from seeing him at Ajax he implemented a fast, attacking, passing style play, but at the time they didn't really have the right type of players, and even he said that they were about 3 players short of having it work 100%.

As for Holland he did pretty well with them, and he gave the youth a chance, Ryan Babel was always the main centre forward. He didn't stand for big ego's and dropped players like Vanistelrooy/Kluivert/Davids.

But he had Holland playing good football as well, and personally i thought Holland played some brilliant football in the Euro's in 2008.

Abramovich is the only reason we are in the top 10. We would be nothing without him.

Cheers Steve.

Oh look its Arsenals favorite cheerleader.
Hi whatnext. Come to continue your daily routines of pretend to be a Chelsea fan while taking digs whenever possible because the goons can't win a thing?

No problems mate.

If you can search some football of Holland in the Euro's in 2008, might be able to show you the style he wanted to get the team playing.

Second goal summed up how he wanted them to play.
