'Rooney Should Be Footballer of the Year'

My mistake. It was the PFA that Giggs won. The same mugs that gave it to Bale last season for his Inter hat-trick.

posted on 11/4/12

At least, we know Tim Krul won't be voting for RVP this season.

posted on 11/4/12

Which is why it's always been a joke. It's half division 3 and 4 players voting for their favourite player on Fifa

posted on 11/4/12

PFA is a joke award, it is voted for in December, so it isn't player of the season at all

Am I the one comparing United to Southampton?

LOL. obviously reading not your strong point either

in case you didnt understand that, I wasnt comparing UTD to Southampton either, dopey

In fact I didnt mention southampton initially

Its ok though, school on monday?

...........................

So, what is it you are saying then, as you keep changing your tune every five minutes.

What does this statement mean?

I thought it was January but this is why I think Silva will win it.

Let's just solve all the arguments by giving the two awards to Andy Carroll and Stuart downing.

I'm on board with that. We can change the names to least assists and longest hair and just keep the trophies the same.

BB

He just doesn't understand how ridiculous that comment was.

I don't have a problem with Giggs getting it that year

The award was just changed for a season to the 'lifetime achievement award'.

It's not as if it's an Oscar.

@ VC

you say

What does this statement mean?

2 things
firstly where is the UTD v Southampton comparison? You do know what comparison means? just google it

Secondly why didnt you just ask what it meant rather than mouthing off?

Le Tiss was vital for Southampton, hence the ROONEY COMPARISON. Could have said Steve Bull etc

posted on 11/4/12

BB - Why is it ridiculous?

or are you just defending VC ala arab?

Le Tiss was a vital component in the Southampton squad. Rooney is that for UTD. Most of your comments have said as much

I put that in because I was expecting abuse form the likes of VC as IMO he has very little football knowledge based on his comments and resorting to abuse

I expected different from you in all honesty

having said that I think like Le Tiss, outside his team Rooney may not be as 'important' as some like to think

In a Barca side or madrid (chose these as you referred to them earlier) he would be like oshea was to rooney when at UTD

So, after a day and a half of dissing Rooney, you now think he is so vital to us, that you compare him to two players who literally carried all the hopes of their respective sides?

Are you bi polar?

And can't you see how this 'ever so slightly' (that was sarcasm) might make you look like a bit of an idiot.

-----------------------------------

LOL. You really are a noob.

I think the problem is you are a product of the rubbish schooling system, where kids are leaving without learning to read and write

Let me say it again for you, Rooney is VITAL to UTD in the role he fulfills for them. As is valencia, as was beckham as was Gnev

NON are world class

Rooney is good player. He fulfills a dual role for UTD, but , pay attention here

There are better strikers than him AND there are definately better midfielders

ALSO he isnt in as much demand as people try and put forward. as BB says he could 'DO A JOB' at Barca real etc, BUT thats NOT the same as replacing or even being as good as what they have

posted on 11/4/12

Not many.

....................

....................

Rooney isn't a midfielder, so that is a bit more stupidity from you.

No offence, but by this logic, you could say that Rooney is Cardiff's Whittingham.

Just because they are important to their teams, doesn't mean they are comparable.

When it suits Rooney is a midfielder, when it doesn't he's a striker

Player of the season performance from Rooney tonight

posted on 11/4/12

Thats the thing Batmanu.

Rooney's been scoring but overall his performances have been average. His goals have masked this and the media have been calling him in form

posted on 11/4/12

Doesn't matter Mr.C. RVP only ended his embarrassing 4 game goalless drought tonight. Forget about his 34 goals and 13 assists this season. He hasn't really stood out for me.

Why would you watch our game when you were playing?

I told him about Rooney's lacklustre performance while I was watching the game

VC

I know he isnt a midfielder but there are many saying he is and a good one

There are plenty of better strikers in the prem alone better than rooney

BB - so? I wasnt doing a like for like. I was comparing their role for the clubs. so if whittingham is vital then he too is a good comparison

Overall gents subbed at 60 mins?
DOES NOT happen to world class players

I thank you and it was a pleasure to be proved right
