Its one of the things that worries me Paul, the fact that our expectations have been skewed by the media hype. No matter how much money we've spent were still only 2 seasons in to getting a reasonable team that can play together next season and the season after if Mancini is given the time will be when we should push ahead. Having said that no team or supporters give up if there is a mathematical chance of the highest place possible. Am sure most Arsenal fans are now looking at the table and hoping we free fall in 3 of our last matches. They wont have given up hope of finishing 2nd until the maths say they cant, and who can blame them after the great comeback this season.
There's still plenty of personal targets to set or beat this season - Most points, most goals, highest GD, longest undefeated home run in the PL etc.
"We stay to the end"
It's always been one of those things that's interested me in football, do the fans lift the players, or do the players lift the fans... It's probably a combination of the two, and hopefully the players will give us some easy on the eye football in our final few games.
Well said lad we have our part to play, just like against Chelsea!

I agree the players generally spark the crowd, but then if we maintain it afterwards they genuinely do too, just like Chelsea as you say loz.
I hope to be entertained at least tonight.
I hope we raise the roof and go off on the pitch from minute 1.
It has to be a good performance.
3 1 to city!
If we lose tonight at Wigan and City overcome WBA at home, which is actually a possibility, then the deficit's 5 points and that's nowhere near as bad.
Wigan are playing well at the moment,I can see them pinching a point but we'd still need utd to implode from here which is highly unlikely
Still it sets up another intriguing season next year with this experience under our belts, but it's imperative that Mancini is still at the helm no matter what
Wigan have never taken a point of united.
Off to the game
