I'm still laughing about the Leeds link!

I don't think Theo's Colin's type of player

£7m + appearance bonuses, if it's Leeds.

Must be a slow day for the lazy journalists

Then give him back to Derby & pay his wages Milf?????

why dont you tweet the bloke who wrote it? I did.

To be honest, as much as Theo is a trier and a cult hero in the making... and his improvement has been massive, technically he is not good enough to play at any higher level than mid-table championship.

If we aim to stay where we are, keep him. If we want to progress, leave him behind.

why do Sky come up with such rubbish stories....i wonder if its breaking news on the ticker tape for the next 12 hours?

mostyn- did he come back to you?

Theo aint a world beater but he has come on loads this season and he still is young. Maybe he can make a good top end Championship player if he keeps his head down and carries on improving

Lets get real. Theo is going nowhere.

He's surprised me Mostyn, maybe he can surprise us a bit more next season, unless King Kenny sees another £35M bargain

I can see where you're coming from though

posted on 11/4/12

doesnt that depend on GSE??

I agree with Mostyn here. I can't see Theo getting much higher because he doesn't have a natural touch.

However....he has done unbelievably well this season with his all-round contribution and in the type of team we have at the moment, a whole-hearted trier fits in better than a star striker. At the very least, his value has increased and IF selling at peak value meant getting in a player with a bit more quality and the same attitude, then that would be progress. I just can't actually imagine any scout for a Premiership or top-end Championship club compile a report which didn't lament his lack of first touch, and you can't survive in better company without that.

he responded by saying "So a story is only true if you have quotes?"

He's never a striker

Barmy Lad,

I've got news for you. Theo is already A "top ten" striker. Whether GSE sell him or not is another question but I hope not. There is more to come from that lad. The decision could be affected by the duration of his contract.

I meant to add that Derby have more points per game when he plays than when he does not. To do with defenders having to stay further back because of his pace I think

Great effort and pace but end of the day not good enough for Derbys starting 11 if they want to push the top 6. Ok coming off the bench but I would sell if an offer of 500k plus came in

He's got us some important goals this season, but he's a bit of a Bambi when it's comes to being a good footballer.
Talk of him playing in the Prem is absurd. £750k - 1 Million max.
Having said that, if Ishmael Miller can command a fee of 1.2 million, then perhaps I am undervaluing Mr Robinson.

He's never a striker !!!

How do you know ??

Did Musty n say so ??

Robinson seems to be a mixture of Daryll Powell, Paulo Wanchope and Claude Davis. I'm not sure wether he's a striker or even a footballer at times.

But what the boy has is good spirit and work ethic and in our league that counts for a lot.
