Not played Career mode for bit but I led Accrington to the Premier league title in 4 years. If memory serves

1st Season – 1st in League 2, Out in round 3 of League cup, Johnstone paints cup winners , FA Cup winners (didn't play prem side until Man City in Final and then won on Pens)

2nd Season – 1st In League 1, Out in 1st round of Johnstones paint , Out of Europa league to Lyon in round after group stage, Out in 4th Round of league cup, FA Cup winners (beat City in the final again)

3rd Season – 1st in Championship (went down to last game), League Cup winners , Out of Europa League to Juventus in round after group stage, Out of FA cup in semi final (to city)

4th Season – 1st in Prem, Out of League cup 2nd round, Out of FA cup 3rd round, Winner of Europa League (played Liverpool, was 3-0 up in 10 minutes)

5th Season - ?

1st signing was an 80 Goalkeeper called John Smith on a free. He's a mental black Canadian with long hair who wears leggings, but won me many a game in my first few seasons.

Strike force of my Virtual Pro and Jordan Slew (on loan every season) scored most my goals.

Signed some Tunisian striker on a free just before the prem and he bagged loads.

Largest fee spent was £5m on Cleverley when promoted to Prem, waste of money.

Heskey constantly turned me down ,

Beckham (aged 39) agreed to join me then disappeared from the game

Had a 1 star scout who found me some useless Asian lads who got nowhere near the first team and constantly whinged.

Should really get that 5th season started and aim for Champions league

My original career mode thread

I've recently finished my 15 season career mode with MK Dons. Took them from 2 stars to 5, from 1.5 million budget to 125 million (at it's highest). Good times My team by the end of it was:

When you think about it, if you start at like 38, you're retiring at 53, which is pretty young

I'm more surprised by how old the players become - Piazon was 17 at the start and is now 32! I don't like having over-30's playing for me
