Not once has he EVER apologised to the fans for performances or held his hand up to admit he got it wrong, even the best managers do that.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I made this point on another thread and I think it is important to understanding a lof of the frustrations of the fan's. We are sat there watching a tactically inept and poor performance and every game it is just excuse after excuse. Not once has he said, we played badly, we didn't deserve to win, I got my tactics wrong etc. It really annoys me, and he must realise how embarrassing it is, some of his excuses have been so poor, especially the one after the Arsenal game, idiot.
He won't explain the recent losses, he doesn't need to, he knows he has the job no matter what happens, and unfortunately it fits with how the fans have been all season. Isolated and in the dark with everything to do with Rover's.
I agree though, funny he ran his mouth off when we started to win a couple, now he does not look so clever, just a shame that it is us that has to put up with the hardship of it all.
I hope he gets to go to Arsenal!

That would mean Kean telling the truth he can't even admit he's got a dog with a tin of dog food in shot he believes his own lies
What has got lost in all this is that Kean WAS NOT a manager when he took over. He just looked at big Sam and thought , "I can do this"
And so with the help of slimey barstuard anderson the super agent he stabbed him in the back and took his job.
Yosser Hughes used to say that!I can do this.
Ah boys from the black stuff, classic!
I would love Kean to be asking "Gis a job" But i can't see it.
Time will tell ,gis a job!I really hope that happens.
Proper telly then starover.
What about Hammer house of horrors? Tales of the unexpected? Ha ha classic tv then!
Tales of the unexpected was another classic ha ha.
Sorry a repeated myself then. thats wine for you!
The A team and Tiswas and Crackerjack,won a pencil once!
We can't defend because you got rid of our entire defence you clown.

Indeed. The squad movements since Kean took over read like something from my own personal worst nightmare. I rated just about everyone he's sold, benched and ostrasized.
Read articles on other boards describing many of these players as "deadwood" and "past it" and even read some comments commending Venkys for trimming the wage bill (the posts not on other boards, I'll stop there).
To me its been a criminal waste of experience and reliability in favour of a bunch of risky, poor quality youngsters. Kean has banged on about the average age of the squad all season, well I'm afraid thats no excuse if the average standard of it is Championship.
Where there's an arrow in the following, read "not fit to clean the boots of":
Orr -> Salgado
Hanley -> Samba
Dann -> Nelsen
Formica -> Diouf
Marcus Olsson -> Emerton
Petrovic -> Andrews
Modeste -> Roberts
That's the problem bwh, haven't really got a problem with any of those players as a back up to the former and the team could possibly cope with one or two of these in.
However, replacing 6+ players with inferior ones is frankly stupid. Having Lowe, Hanley, Peds, Dunn et al as your spine is ridiculous.
At least we have Goodwillie and Andersen to rely on!
Hmm - Peds I have no problem forming one of our midfielders. A poor man's Alonso as it were - accompanied by a defnesively minded player (not Dunn...). Lowe and Hanley show promise and will be good players in the future but our mainstay RB and CB they are not meant to be.
Dann should be better than he has been but the rest do appear to be a cheap low quality selection of European/S American imports.
Marcus Olsson looks alright, but to replace Diouf and then Formica becomes Hoiletts replacement in the summer. I guess Lowe is Emertons replacement as he is more of a utility man. Like a young Phil Neville
And one more maybe?
Rochina -> Kalinic
I've actually been pleasantly surprised by Orr.
I second that, Orr looks Orrlright
Absolutely no problem with Orr as such, it's the total overhaul that's the problem rather than any individual example!
I've no problem with his attitude and effort, but then to be fair you could say that about most of Kean's signings. I do think though that he's a good example of the lack of quality thats been brought in. The peak of his career coming to Rovers at 29 years old was being in a Championship title winning side. I suppose he represents standing still in relation to Salgado while most other positions have seen us go backwards.

Glad it is not just me then! Genuine PL quality replaced with hopeful wannabees. As damaging is the contrast in physical maturity between the players, let alone ability and experience.
