Manchester United manager David Moyes: "We played well today, and the crowd were terrific. We gave them something to shout about in the second half.
"We started well in the first 10 minutes, but then Swansea got a grip of it. They had very few chances, though.
"Adnan can play any of the front roles. In the second half, Shinji gave us a bit more of a link in the middle and Adnan was absolutely fantastic when he went out wide. He is at the right club.
"The biggest thing I can say is that you'd hardly think Darren Fletcher is someone who hasn't been playing. His fitness was fine today, and it is great credit to him."
Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj told Sky Sports: "We have the three points, the team won and we all did well. I hope we keep going. I just try to play my game and do my best."
Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher told Sky Sports: "I think that we raised the tempo second half and that was the difference.
"We know teams like Swansea like to keep the ball. A slight tactical change did it. Adnan Januzaj is a young lad who has been a revelation and going out to the left for us helped us because he ran at people and we wanted to get the ball to him as much as possible.
"We have a lot of players in midfield. You want to press but you can't sometimes. Ultimately if you want to win the game you have to get up for the ball and that's what we did. We have to back it up but you need to win every game at Manchester United.
"On a personal level I've worked hard to get back. Hopefully there is more to come for me. I'm happy where I am right now."
There's no doubt that Darren Fletcher was key to Manchester United's victory today, and the stats bear that out. The Scotland midfielder found his man with almost 93% of his passes compared to Jonjo Shelvey's 82%. He made three key interceptions compared to none for Shelvey and created two chances for his team. Shelvey? None.
