what do u mean by 'dead'?
Oh I have just seen on SSN. It is a very bad move for him. He won't be in the starting 11
The OP was a bit quicker than me. I just want to write a similar article with a headline:
Who is greedy?

I think you are wrong there fella. Ask most City fans where they fell our weakest position is, and they'll mostly say left back. I think Clichy will be a regular in the starting 11

average player who will love the big wages
Your not gonna blame him though... he's gonna be getting double what he's was earning...

Sadly I think that there is now more than an issue of greed in the desire of players to leave club.
You have to ask the question why so many want to go? Perhaps there is a growing perception that club and management are a lost cause.
but no he leaves for a rival to make more money
--------------------------
and clearly anyone who would ever change jobs for more money should be stoned to death.
If city are offering him ludicrous wages, as is almost certainly the case, then he is likley to want to move.... no different to anyone else.
no different to anyone else.
------------------------------------
Speak for yourself
Professional footballers at Arsenal are already earning extravagant wages, to move on for even more extravagant wages is nothing more than greed.
In the average persons life moving jobs for more money allows a few pennies more to pay bills, more frequent holidays etc.
The money Clichy is on at Arsenal allows for a bit more loyalty
no different to anyone else.

it doesn't matter how much they are earning... an offer to double or treble it is always going to turn your head... hell, even a 50% rise is always going to make you consider it. Clichy is an employee, and if 99% of employees get an offer of a major wage hike, they are always going to be interested, no matter how much they currently earn.
Trying to claim any different is total delusion.
Also add into the equation.. City on paper look more likely to win some silverware than Arsenal at the moment. Who wouldnt want to go to City right now
?> Yes he probably getting a massive payrise but I think he sees City as a club on the verge of winning some major silverware whereas Arsenal are just plodding along in the same position. Not a WUM. Just saying how I see it.

Trying to claim any different is total delusion.
----------------------------
It is not delusion, it is a valid opinion
Every day people turn down the offer of higher wages, money is everything.
Clichy is in a position where money is not something that will ever be a worry, therefore he is in a position to consider factors other than a wage rise

he may be in a position where money isn't a concern to him, but the offer of more of it is always going to turn your head.... that's just a fact of life.

I am not arguing that the offer of more money isn't a factor, that much is perfectly obvious.
I am simply stating my digust and lack of respect for a professional in his position to be so easily tempted by more money, you can be almost sure he doesn't need.
Clichy is after the money not the title. That's all.
Right. And if he stays with you, He's with you for the trophies but because he's about to go City, he's purely with them for the money.

Why do assume he will be anymore guaranteed trophies at Man Cuty than at Arsenal?
Are you so sure Chelsea are passed it?
