Ooh and on a side note, Giroud is Koscielny's best friend
he's a complete player, watched the game vs Marseille. But he'd cost about £15m and be back up unless we go 4-4-2. Him and RVP would be a great partnership though
Yeah 8bit, that's the problem. Unless we go 4-4-2, he'd only make the bench.
The guy wins everything in the air. He would help us so much on set pieces!
but does ht have a left foot rocket like podolski?

chamakh?
"but does ht have a left foot rocket like podolski?"

Absolutely. His left foot is a force to be reckoned with.
He's also an overhead kick specialist.
I think Podolski's versatility and experience edges it tbh.
WHY CAN'T WE SIGN BOTH!!
You just love a guy not many people know much about.
I would take Podolski over Giroud. I don't see the point of spending more on a player who in my opinion isn't as good and is very overrated. When we can get a marquee signing for less, that has been tested at every level.
This is a poor way to compare but a 25 year old with 3 caps for a poor France team or a 26 year old with 95 caps for Germany.
Plus i'd rather not buy a middle aged striker from France, we have seen it before were strikers from France get hyped up look at Gervinho (not a striker but still) Arsenal.com said he could be the new Henry, Chamakh is very similar to Giroud obviously Giroud has a much better shot but Chamakh was considered one of the best headers of a ball in Europe. Gameiro and Gignac are prime examples.
I don't think he would even fit into our system well.
apparently Wenger was asked about Giroud in a press conference and did his cheeky smile he has much more of a strikers instinct that Chamakh, even in France Chamakh never had that.
Koscielny only has 1 cap for France, Mertesacker has 70+ for Germany. Is Mertesacker a better defender than Koscielny? No.
You shouldn't judge a player's quality based on the amount of caps they've got for their country.
I've never rated Gervinho or Chamakh as footballers, so whoever hyped them up obviously hasn't got an understanding of the game.
Giroud is a more talented footballer than Podolski.
okay kamran, ill take your word for it
He isn't that tall. I'm the same height as him. I'd beat him up too.

I don't know much about Giroud. Looks like a tall target man though.
While Podolski's a winger/striker. Very quick, and has a powerful left foot on him. Not too sure about the intricacies of his game.
Different players.
Are you sure it's a good idea to gamble on another tall target man from Ligue 1, after the disappointment with Chamakh?
I'd rather Podolski.
Dubbed, Giroud is very similar to Ibrahimovic, you'd like him. He's nothing like Chamakh, he's a proper footballer with technical ability and intelligence.

just what I was thinking and this guy is going to cost us 15m aswell!
He's nothing like Chamakh. He's more like a left-footed Ibrahimovic.

Yeah. My cousin was banging on about him. Showed me a few clips on Youtube. Albeit they were just him scoring goals, and whatnot.
I'll have to see more of him.
But I still want us to sign Podolski. He's a very good player.

He scores some great goals on that video, goals Chamakh can only dream of scoring. The guy is a left-footed Ibra!
Is he a finisher? Is he quick. Can he actually play football?
