Oh well, when your job is so secure no matter the results you tend to do as you please.

everything wenger has done is for the good of the club. How many other managers (who also want to win things, just as much as players) would put their own ambitions to one side to build a long term future for the club they manage?
Wenger has had many big clubs trying to lure him away, but has stayed faithful to AFC, despite having little to spend and having to cut their cloth frugally to enable us to pay down the stadium loans sooner. Under anyone else we'd be paying those loans off for another 10-15 years, as it is we only have the fixed term, low interest ones still to pay.
The people slating wenger should actually be thanking him for putting his ambitions to the side and guiding us through this period (that was entirely anticipated and discussed prior to the stadium build at press conferences) and putting the club on a very firm financial footing to allow us to now kick on.
By getting to the finals that people berate him for not winning and by being in the fight for the title up until the last weeks we have actually overacheived on what was expected during this period.
Of course it's disappointing to get there and then not win... but getting there is still over and above the expectation for the period we are now leaving behind.
I'm sure Nasri does want to win trophies, but isn't this the same player who was demanding a salary of 110k a week, complaining that "reserve players" at Man City were on more than him??
Secondly, if your two owners, Kroenke and Usmanov (who I believe to be billionaires) want success, then surely Wenger has an open purse. How come with all this financial clout, the season tickets at Arsenal have gone up 6.5% and half the squad seem to want out?

we have investors, not sugar daddies. AFC is a self sustaining business, we don't have people buying our players or paying our wage bills for us unlike some clubs.

see the answer to the previous question, and the fact of a 2.5% vat rise and 4% inflation.

wenger has done an excellant job of running the club,i dont think our problem is much to do with personell ,the problem is wenger lacks tactical awarness and doesn`t seem to be a very good motivator in the mould of sir alex, mourinho , but all said and done it seems the club has big problems in keeping our top talent and in attracting top talent
I am actually a big fan of Wenger and he has taken too much flak for doing good for the club. We got various finals and have been in the title race for 3 of the last 4 seasons. Yes, I also wish we had won some of those but he actually got us there not least keeping us in the top 4. He has been frugal for the financial security of the club and this has allowed us to pay off debt faster. But most of our fans seem to have forgotten this.
Moyes and Allardyce are lauded for keeping their clubs afloat despite tight budgets. Yet we turn so badly on a manager who has kept us at the elite level despite tight budgets.
And if Nasri could have won 2 trophies (what he claims to covet) if he and his teammates hadn't bottled the Carling Cup final and claimed a relegation-form 11 points from the last 11 games.
everything wenger has done is for the good of the club.

is he as perfect as God?
when you say, 'everything he has done' you don't seem to believe his mistakes.
