Firstly knowing the mirror's reputation in the past with Forest, this needs to probably taken with a pinch of salt.

However from that, it sounds interesting. Firstly obviously disappointing that no domestic buyers are vying for the club as obviously especially if we got someone from Nottingham who is a forest fan that is always nice. However interesting to see what would happen here, as the Arab group could obviously be mega billionaires and we could be the next man City but also we don't know the background of the American Consortium as well, who could be mega billionaires for all we know. i guess we will just have to wait and see, but lets hope they will want a push for the premier league next year, but that they also have a genuine interest in Forest, and do not just want to buy the club to show off to their friends!

A very small majority did. yes many wanted Nigel to place some more investment in the squad when Billy was manager, but the majority never wanted to see him go. It was MA when the protests occurred who people wanted out not Nigel

I hope they spend Billions and have Billy as the manager to appease the fans.

Claude Davies is available from Crawley for £17m.

Does "Tug-of-War" mean anything more than we have had conversations with some American, and some Middle Eastern gentlemen about the sale of the club?

If our people haven't spoken to anyone yet they will have outdone Mark Arthur at his own game.

Now let's get this right...was it a small majority or a massive minority?

Mistake by me, but it was late last night i wrote it.

It was meant to be minority, but did I have to spell that out to you?

Arabs will be better than Yanks... if we have to go foreign. Just dreading the price increases.

At least they won't want Billy... eh Billy?

Hopefully they will, but we will probably end up with Sven ! I actually think the yanks would be better for us!

having won the lottery 3 times in as many weeks, i was thinking of puttin in a cheeky bid for my beloved NFFC.

£30 probably wouldn't get me too far though, would probably only get me Derbyshire, McGoldrick and Boateng. Saying that, i'd probably have money left over for a pint of guinness in the castle club ...

they're probably more likely to be chancers and shysters than mega billionaires so it's difficult not to be skeptical for now

it will be interesting though, if nothing else
